Energy-efficient renovation of a single-family home with limited technical space
In this project, the entire single-family home was renovated to improve its energy efficiency. The old heating system was replaced with a modern air-to-water heat pump from Lambda, and a powerful PV system was installed on the roof.
As the utility room offered very little space, the customer was looking for a particularly compact solution and came across us through an article in a homeowner magazine.
Together with the installer “heizpartner GmbH,” a well-thought-out overall concept was developed:
The heat pump uses the excess energy from the solar system to charge the Cowa COMPACT Cells. This means that the energy is available exactly when it is needed. The intelligent interaction of the components significantly reduces the cycling of the heat pump and increases self-consumption. This protects the technology, increases its service life, and ultimately saves money.

“Cowa enabled me to integrate thermal storage into the system despite the lack of space, without having to carry out any structural work on the house.”
